We're extremely grateful to Morrisons Edgbaston for their generous weekly donations of food to the Ladywood Helpers. The donations have allowed us to provide food parcels during the covid-19 crisis to families and individuals in the Ladywood community needing food outside of our local foodbank's operating hours.
Our additional food pantry will also help to alleviate the pressure on Birmingham Central Foodbank supporting people in Ladywood needing emergency food.
Supporting the community with food parcel deliveries
Food parcels also containing fresh produce have been delivered to families and individuals across Ladywood who have requested assistance from the Ladywood Helpers. From the elderly and people with critical health conditions in isolation to families affected by job loss.
